This is the oldest settlement in Castilla y León. Archaeological work has uncovered a wall, a necropolis, a temple and the walls of a large number of houses among the flora. In fact, it is estimated that some 2,000 people may have lived there. In addition to cave paintings in good condition, materials from the Iron, Copper and Bronze Ages have been found at the site.
