Horcajo Dam (Piedralaves)

The dictionary says that "horcajo" is the confluence of two rivers or streams. Located at an altitude of 1,005 metres, four gorges empty their waters into the dam: La Serradilla, El Retamalejo, Matavacas and La Graja. They form the gorge of Nuño cojo, the gorge that runs through this town in the province of Ávila.
